Shitboxes disguised as decent cars on the whole, BUT if you really know what your looking at you can get a bargain, mostly as they dont realise what they got.

On the whole tho, give em a wide berth.

 

If you want a good deal sound like an asian on the telephone or better yet sound like a northern asian and they will give you good service

Just thought i would ask

 

i went there a few weeks back to see what they had.it wasnt as bad as i had heard and there was some nice cars there,along with some poor cars there.

i would say go and have a look and make your own mind up.

i didnt buy anything because the midnight purple r33 gtr they had wasnt all that,but i almost bought a black evo 5-until i remembered i really wanted a gtr!

I've heard stories about them keeping spare keys and then once the cars are sold coming back to collect them from the new owner

 

Dnt go there. My cousin bought a Celica GT4 and it blew up in the first week he went back they said they would fix it and in a week it went again, so we stripped and rebuilt the engine and they had not changed a thing.

 

3 door was way too clean for me.
as im a trader(well,one that doesnt seem to make a profit!),i tend to get to enjoy many cars.i decided i wanted a skyline r33 gtr,but have just got an x5 now!
the only car i seem to be able to keep is my m3 track car-although ive almost sold that once!but its still here.....

i had always thought it was a bad place (had never been)and there is some shit there,but there is over 100 cars there for sale and not stupidly priced for a garage.seems to be a lot of bad press though,so maybe best to give it a wide berth and in a way im glad i didnt buy from there.

but

they sell performance cars that will have had and will continue to have a hard life,so breakdowns can be expected,surely if used hard.

our local import specialist has a much better reputation(and their cars are much more expensive),but a mate works there and is forever putting right cars they have sold-evo clutches and transfer boxes he can do in his sleep now!

 

and thats the reson they have a good rep

havnt keighley got somewhere in birmingham aswell now, trading under sa different name but still the same people ive heard

i used to see cars advertised ay keighley then be at the one in brum the following week or both advertised at the same time anyhow

 

The top dollar cars seem to be good because they are newer, but the lower priced cars are shite.

ha,ha,ha-i think you would be a bit surprised mate.when ive been out on track the other m3's,including the evo's dont seem to be able to get close-i concentrate on chasing the csl's.............

Cant back others on this thread up enough. The place is a shithole.

I took a mate of mine down(from central Scotland) to have a look at starlet turbo's - he had cash on him to buy. However we ended up waiting hours as they constantly fucked about with other customers that had arrived after us!

Anyway, they managed to get the keys after going through the immense hardship of picking them up off their desk...but we didnt even need to look inside. The cars were all tatty, dodgy panel gaps, and sounded as rough as feck.

Total waste of a journey, and I only wish I had been using forums at the time so I could have asked the same question as you have.

To sum up:
Terrible/non-existant customer service
Dodgy cars, many of them previously crashed(unfortunatly not with those robbing bastards inside)

 

They seem to be the most talked about company in a negative way on the internet, Surely they cant be all that bad,...can they. I would go have a look and judge for myself instead of listening to all this internet chat, at least that way you know what to half expect.
They certainly have a load of cars and are cheaper then most.
I know that they are asian and do have a sister company in Birmingham.
Never been myself but cant believe all the negative press.

As said above. I live not 5 miles away, the top dollar cars are ok,i.e. the ones in the showroom,as they are nearly new, but the stock on the outside is mostly shite, so why waste your time travelling up to see a load of shite? Unless your spending 15k plus, i wouldn't bother.
Saying that though, as you seem to be sticking up for them, maybe you should waste 4 hours of your time, 200 miles worth of fuel etc. to tell them their cars are shite to their face!

 

i dont know them but it seems pretty definative. as theres so much negative publicity rather than just the odd bad deal then there must be reason for it unless its all a big internet conspiracy?

Not sticking up for them as such, but having seen there website it would seem fair to say that they have allot of cars and as you mention the higher range cars are priced according to conditon as are the lower range.
