personally i would NOT recommend the quaife at all , they dont take the power if you abuse them and NEED regular maintenance , and when you need parts you may as well be getting them made by MR fixit

The shift quality is similar to the standard MT75 box, as it uses OE syncros, but as you can see from the size of the gears, they can stand serious abuse (is in a 10s car in Sweden as well as the It's Fun Sapphire 4x4 as featured on GIS).

I would be worried about OE synchros with heavier gears but if you say it works like stock i belive

What about Quife? Does it also use OE synchros?
The Quaife big tooth box does use OE synchros.
This is the only picture of a Quaife big tooth gear I have as the rest of the kit is on the other side of town...
It's 3rd gear with synchro cone fitted and is also an E20Z1 kit which is the weakest out of 3 big tooth types Z2 being a medium and Z3 being the strongest...
I do truely think there is a massive hole in the market. A good modern 5 / 6 speed synchro 4x4 box that fits in a cossie.
i emailed zeroshift and have filled in the request form for more info and they have said , subject to demand that a mt75 version may be developed in the near future.
only trouble is, its all gone quiet with the T5 boxes they wre doing - i have seen them on here.... would be interesting to see how thier mechanism can handle big torque.
sean,, were u developing a skyline gearbox conversion to fit 4x4 cossies...?
