Matt - I've got a stage 3 fore be fore

Got a T34 blower using a Group A headgasket which i've not had a issue with...

but if you can stretch a bit further then go for the WRC jobby (as winker above says ) think they are made by mountune??? might be wrong....

as i remember a conversation a while saying they were quite good

I thought wire-ringing was not recommended any more. <- not meant to start heated discussions.

I PERSONALLY wouldnt touch a Cometic one as i have had a problem with them and a damaged engine

BUT

There are people who swear by them

Yes the WRC ones are expensive at Ł370 but you pay for what you get

If you stick a WRC gasket on a cossie at Stage 3, you're either a moron, or you've got more money than sense.

What exactly is a Ł400 WRC gasket going to do, that a Ł60 "Group A" one isn't?

Matt - my feeling is this.

Go stage 3 with greens, chip, and 3 bar, and run the T3 at a reasonable level of boost.

Prepare for the headgasket to go at any time, as it could, and be prepared for the turbo to let go, as it could being old (probably)...........

Put a decent aftermarket oil breather on the car anyway, as the std. Ford one is pants, and if you like bling things, then put a swirl pot on.

I've run my car on a Group A gasket for four years, and people have seen how I drive my car - never a hint of a problem.
