Default sloppy rs turbo

hi guys i have a 1990 rs turbo compleley std nly mod kn panel filter when i accelerate the car seems sluggish!! at about 4k it kind of holds back. car has done 85k with full service histiry just been fully serviced

car also runs fine then all of a sudden cuts out if i leave it for 2 minutes it kicks up no problem AND CARRYS ON AS NORAMAL ,

any ideas?

sounds like the dizzy,when it cuts out,see if u have a spark

hi karl been told it might be the sensor on the manifold or summin common problem on these cars?

im a carburettor man myself with my xr3 but added this car to my collection a little while ago apart from this irratating issue car is fine

the timing is too retarded, and/or the hose between metering head and turbo is collapsing - give it a squeeze, it should be firm.
