I purchased an RAC hpi check, entered the car details asked the seller to provide the serial no. from the V5 and also the issue date, entered it all and it's come back the car is a 5speed it's actuall a 6speed, and that the v5 document issue date dosent match the date provided by the DVLA.

Cany anyone shed any light please, meant to be going to view tomorrow

 

might of been another v5 issued or figures wrong, sometimes ppl do have couple v5s for same car, when you see it ask him, call rac and give figures again when you have v5 in hand

wouldnt panic too much at the mo

My mums car says its a 16 valve on the V5 but she's had it since new and has always been a 8 valve
