Default Hydrogen Powered motors

Guys,

my mate has a 1.8 petrol freelander and she is looking at installing this DIY Hydrogen kit for her car.

I dont know too much about the workings of hydrogen etc but what do you think about it... personally I think its rubbish, if it was so easy with such great savings on fuel then why isnt all the car manufacturers doing it.. looks very bob budget...

Is the theory they are describing feasible.

as you have said if it was that easy then the major manufacturers would have them in showrooms already. A friend of mine has been doing some work at a company in Loughborough who have just been given 8 million quid by peugot to develop this technology I'll pass on the link it may save them some time

Best quote on the site

WATER IS A VERY POWERFUL FUEL. All you need is the right "match" to ignite it and...BANG!

As long as she only wants to go 25miles it's O.K , cause that's how far a tank full lasts.

Dont do it. Hydrogen is not feasable untill we can get very cheap electricity as you are required to put in 150% of the energy you can get out, in order to obtain the hydrogen.

Bio-eth and meth are the conversions to be doing.
