.....working with crappy french cars, I will be moving on to Honda. Bring on the golden oldies!

They made me wait about a week to find out but I will be starting on the 4th of Aug as one of their new customer advisors. Its a brand new site and dealership which is based in Romford, and will be about a 15 min drive to work.

I'm a bit nervous but as one of our techs said, "it cant be worse any than Peugeot". Too bloody right!!

So as of the 1st of Aug 2008 at 18:00 I will become an Essex boy.

Anyone else work for Honda??

honda actually shut the main dealer/big workshop down in basingstoke and moved into a lot smaller one as they said the cars are to reliable so didnt need all the room they had in the old unit so be prepaird to drink lots of coffee lol

 

my missus works for honda and as corporate image manager is responsible for the look of the new delaership that you will be working in. congratulations on your new job

I used to work for Honda. I'm glad I left Can't say much more than that nice about them really apart from, its a shame they left Accountants to run Co's otherwise they would of run a bit more efficient and better....

When I went to the interview they said that this is going to be the premier site. Apparently all Honda dealers are supposed to look/have the same sort of lay out.

I just like that fact that when you walk in you see a brand new basic Civic which is then parked next to a immaculate NSX. My current dealer is old and needs to be blue boxed (which has been talked about for years). This will be a whole new experience for me.......and hopefully it will be a good one!

that's the idea. like the peugeot blue box concept or the audi curved tin roof (that has nearly put them out of business it has been so expensive to implement).
