Land lady of the garage that I rent in Bristol has decided that she prefers the sound of carpenters banging wood to angle grinders tickling cars and has pulled the plug on my tenancy…grrr.

So, is there anyone around on here who would fancy a garage/storage space share in the Bristol area? Is anyone in the same boat or indeed owns such a venue and fancies a spot of help with the rent?

I’ve a 1981 fiesta on the road [no storage issue required there] but also a 1977 chevette saloon that’s currently undergoing bodywork before dropping in a 2.0l ecotec, and associative parts and spares. It doesn’t total a lot and at the moment all fits into a single garage space [though a bit of room to spread the wings wouldn’t go amiss. I’ve got my own tools as well so could offer those on a sharing basis to sweeten the deal, although having witnessed first hand most of the car fettling on here I don’t imagine there’s a shortage of such things out there!!

I’m male, 25, clean, tidy after myself and don’t mind a bit of grunt work on other peoples cars if work needs doing. I’m not a qualified mechanic but am a fast learner and can already tell one end of a spanner from another. I can supply photos of the current garage to give any potential knights in shining armour a better idea of my idea of associative parts and spares!!

So there’s the plea…any takers??
