building trade? go to the inland revenue, fill out the forms and get a cis4 card with number. job done.
keep all your receipts for everything you buy for your tax return at the end of the year.

 

£1000 + is an average rebate for £30000+ in your tax return . best to get a 'good' accountant who can do your tax return 'creatively' and expect to pay them £100 a year roughly for filling out your tax return.

I would recommend speaking to an account first as you will most probably want one to sort out the payroll, tax returns and possibly vat returns (depending on expected turnover), if you haven't had the experience.

As above, there is no reason you can't do it yourself, but just like I can wash my own car - you'll do it better

Plus the peace of mind that you haven't missed something and will shortly be fucked good and hard by the tax man. The other thing an accountant will do for you is make sure as much money stays in your pocket as possible.

 

a good accountant will make sure you keep as much of your cash as possible but theres many who will play it bang on the rules and not play the game at all.
