Hi All,

I recently bought a Streetka for my wife. She loves it, but we have one little gripe about it. The fuel consumption is aweful, she no Nigel Mansell and the car does a 30 mile trip per day on a A Road. I drove it the other day and it felt flat and did a 50 mile trip on the M-way and the thing used qtr of a tank

Any ideas if this is normal or should I be looking at something on these. Getting around 200 miles to a tank which cost just over £40 to fill

Well please dont say its worse than a 206 CC 2.0.. As ive just got 1 for a mate,as she wanted "better fuel econemy"!!

Wish I could be more optimistic but it is not very good on fuel, which leads to think there could be an issue somewhere

my wife had a street car... she loved the look of it but was shite on petrol and kept overheating. thermostat probs ,,, 2 sets of discs and pads on front ,they wouldnot work right worst car we ever bought sold it on sharpish... good luck with yours ,but yes they are shite on juice

 

ex girlfriend has ka convertable, not long had it but says its terrible on fuel so prob the norm mate

 

You should give her the Audi coz you only travel a few miles
