how are u able to get such low milers?S1 looks awesome

 

Just takes time to search out the right cars
as i prefer to buy original non restored cars if possible.
and being lucky when looking helps.
In fairness before i sell an RS i try to have another lined up to replace it
The only problem is low mileage cars are making more and more money.

Paul no its not for sale as im very happy with the car -
but that depends on what im offered or find to replace it if i were to sell it
would have to be something different from what ive had before but in as nice
a condition as this one.

The MK2 R2000 ABO 434T i bought back last year after selling it seven years ago.A mate wanted it so i sold it to him he then did a light restoration on it and sold it to a guy in Scotland jus2 weeks ago

Escort Cosworth M666 COS was sold into the South of Ireland about 5 years ago
and i dont think its ever been out since

Escort Cosworth N51 NGC was sold to a mate who still has it now on a private plate and
still only 10,000 miles on it

Escort Cosworth VJI 8061 was sold to another mate who then sold it to the Isle of Man

Sierra Saff 2wd now owned by a friend of a friend whos restoring it for shows.

S1 RS TURBO B707 ANM was sold back to the guy i bought from in Scotland he still has it
stored away

The Black Saff 4x4 i still have

Just come across this post, your old Escort Cosworth was bought by me on the Isle Of Man. I spun a big end bearing, and rebuilt the engine. I sold it 2yrs later, it went to scotland. Have not seen it since.
