Default Towing with a straight bar

I am moving my rs but it has no Tax,mot,insurance as i am striping it for my other rs but the car i am towing it with will be insured and so on will this be ok and covered by the car in front?

Trailer, recovery truck or spec-lift is the only legal way to move it.

no, needs all 4 wheels off the ground by law incase the bar breaks

they can brake i belive,,,,,, though might be better to ask davecos4x4 for info he he

Why is this? I mean you dont insure a caravan when you tow it do you?

but they are secured to the back of the car,,, tow bars are not the same i promise you !

oh and you dont NEED insurance for a caravan/tax,,,,, infact dont think theres a MOT requirement for one either..... best asking a someone like jim galbally to be sure about that one though he he

Oh well looks like i am not moving it then Strip it on the drive and weigh it in...(There is more rot than car)

So long as either front or rear wheels off ground then it becomes a trailer, and does not need mot etc.
