Default Abnormal tyre wear

What would cause the inner tread on one tyre to wear more than any other part of the tyre, or the same part on the opposite side?

Its on my 330d The very inside fo the front passenger tyre seems to have worn more than anything else. It however drives straight so tracking is not out. Any other thoughts?

'drives straight so tracking is not out'

Not true. The tracking could be miles out and it may still drive in a straight line. Get it checked

probably the lower outer ball joints, if the 330 has them fitted, very common but a pig to change

if they are going/gone it almost always causes the tyres to wear as yours have

look like this

Will get it checked out. Its going in to BMW in 3 weeks so will get them to have a look while they are at it.

Theres no knock or play and at mileage i would like to think that it would not be ball joint. But as said would like to know all things it could be.

the joint are actually made of rubber and the e36's do eat them quite quick

50k miles. My ball joints didnt go on the cossie for years! pmsl. Though i did know that as was knocking like a pig. And it was a nightmare to change on that, hence why i wouldnt even touch the 330.

lower ball joints AND the tracking ( ball joints will pull the tracking out,, but just when turning if that makes sence)

they last 30k miles tops
