how can i tell if turbo is fcuked

Default how can i tell if turbo is fcuked

i went out today for a bit on my way home i give my car a bit of boot and i poped to my mates when i stoped it was smokeing (blue) it has never done it before so i drove it home and it got worse so i have the turbo off i also took the head off to see how the head gasket is as i want to put a good one on anyway the piston and bores are real good.
as for the turbo when i took it off i blew down the oil way and i bunged up the return and i can here it leeking am thinking its not supposed to do that can anyone tell me how to check the turbo?

fooked turbo:
in and out play, side - side play, it may have minimal side to side play, thats ok but lots ='s fooked
also if their is some oil on the inlet side or oil in boost hoses you've generally got a problem

the only other thing i can fink of is the stem seals but am sure its the turbo i dint think they can just go like that

would have tried a compression test myself before the head was off as regrdless how good the bores look could have a cracked ring or piston or something thich may have shown up in a test

Also use a standard ford Payen gasket

i think the norm is around 150psi
