im after doing a project with my dadbut he getting on abit so im thinking i only have 1 chance so had to make it a good 1.
i want to build a escort cossie like others have but do it properly so i need to know what shells have the tunnle in them? is it just cossie and rs2000 4x4?
and how hard is it to put sierra cossi running gear in one?
The RS2000 4x4 uses a different and totally useless 4x4 system. The only shells with the tunnels were the cosworth shells. And they're very expensive. And it's pretty easy to put the saff running gear in as it's the same floorplan!
its only the escort cosworth shells that have the tunnel in them & dont share a lot of bits with the standars escort shell
easyest way is to graft a sierra cosworth floor & bulk head in to what ever shel you decide to do it to
Even if you were to graft the floor pan & front end in to the std Escort shell you then still have a standard width shell... So then it's onto the outside!!
