i wouldnt use plastic sleeving i would use an armoured cable! i remember when digging a pond at our old house we found the electric cable to the shed and just thought it was a tree root so tried to break thru it with the spade, good job it wasnt just covered in plastic sleeving lol

To do it properly you need to have a small consumer unit in the shed and then run the sockets from that.

you can get a conduit for the cable ,armoured is exspensive if you need a lot.
Wire a fused spare from a socket and then inti the shed ,small fuse box about £70 quid, not that difficult.

Sure there will be a sparks allong soon

or if you have a spare space in your fuse box ,buy a circiut breaker and wire it directly to that.
many different ways so best to get a proper spark along and not just rely on the opinions of internet experts.

We have a proper consumer unit, fed by armoured cable to the main consumer unit for the house. There is then a proper lighting and ring-main circuit in the shed.

Only thing I'm thinking about changing are the 2 bulkhead lights for fluorescents.
