S1 Stolen ! ! !
Last night from south Cumbria. Reg number C 575 XTR. Well known car at the shows. Was recently on RSOC and pistonheads. Can anyone spread the word on any sites you can. A lad at work only had it a few days. Any info greatly recieved. cheeRS.

Daves was attacked not more than a couple of weeks ago now this one
These cars still attract the wrong sort of attention despite their age. Hope it turns up undamaged. Remember this car from a few shows and it was lovelly, real credit to the owner

SHIT...thats bad..fecking tosser can't leave a damn thing alone...
thing is should of have a CAT1 alarm... but still why can't dickheads leave other peoples stuf alone.. someone tried to nick my car they'ed end up with a very bad head..

i was the owner of this series 1, after wanting one for the past 4years after 4days it was gone!!!

If it comes on ebay under that reg (doubful I know) then someone will spot it.
Just be aware that the thief could well be looking on the boards so be careful of what you post reference 'special/ one-off' bits that could show the car's XTR otherwise they may change them to disguise it.

You say you only had it 4 days.Do you know the previous owner well??
Has been done before ,as the person you bought it off knows where you live due to log book having to be posted by him and he,s probably got a spare set of keys.
Was it on the drive/garaged,stolen night /day.?
Also were you insured so you can at least get some money back?
Hope you find it ,but as you've said the thieving scum will prabaly get away with it.

was fully insured and parked on drive, came in from a night out at around 2:30 - 3:00 and its was sat there looking great, woke up at 8:00 and it had gone, live in a quiet village and no1 seems to ov heard a thing or seen anything! who ever took her knew what they were doing, previous owner is brian from Glasgow, genuin bloke and just as gutted as iam! thanks for the support and pics guys, lets just hope she turns up safe!!!

I met the guy (Brian) who sold it when we looked round it. NOOOOO way is he involved. Top genuine bloke from what i could see and what Rob said about him after the sale. I do see your point and can see why that would happen but that is not the case this time. I have just spoken to Rob and he said the police would ring today to let him know what (if any) developments had taken place but no word from them yet.

for all those who are suggesting that i was in anyway involved in this - i can assure you this is not the case. i wouldnt wish this to happen to anyone.

Sounds to me like you were followed.Don,t think they would have just been passing.
Iv'e been followed a couple of times but always lost them.Was follwed to a petrol station once and the guy got out of his car ,came over and said " nice car ,do you want to sell it"? His next question was "what security has it got on it" I said no thanks.
Any thing like that happen to you,just a thought.

only put them up chris as others were asking so they can keep an eye out on the other forums and ebay
