Default why dont toyor888 do common sizes?

i want 215/40/17 and want Toyo R888`s but they dont do them in that size

so i have a choice

205/40/17 (not wide enough imo)
214/45/17 (think they will rub on my 2wd with ET33 offset) and lowered by 35mm?

The 205/40 R888 is almost 215 wide mate. Think the contact patch is about 213mm IIRC.

They do. You should have asked why they don't do the uncommon sizes

R888s are random with the sizing anyway, the way the sidewall is, there about 10mm wider than you'd expect.

my mate runs R888's or A021's in 185/60/14 on his 205, the 888's are alot bigger, just by glance you can see they are wider!
