Default lamber sensor

really Quick question, need to fit a lamber sensor for closed loop, what pins do i use for the ecu

If the f reg car in your siggy has a L6 it doesn't do closed loop.
My diagram lists 1 and 2 as the lambda wires.

1 on ECU is earth
2 is Lambda signal.

yes, thats where its normally taken from, so its only on when the pump is running.

You CAN NOT get power from the fuel pump trigger. This is an earth connection.
You have to get the power from the fuel pump relay.

i thought that what what he meant tabs, as tabs has said, p28 on the ecu is a switched earth, not a switched live, you need to connect it to Pin 87 on the fuel pump relay.

ok the issue with this is the fuel pump relay is in da boot, i will have to give it its own power feed

Correct. And lambda is pin 2 just for added clarification.

Original relay is probably behind the dash still. Has a red and black feed wire on a yellow relay.

cheers stu its not actually 4 me as u know i have a purpose built loom from ryan its 4 mr c i will take a look behind the dash later

Sorry for jumping on the band wagon here but how do you know which wire of the lambda sensor goes where , i have a lambda sensor with 2 white wires and 1 black (presumably to pin 1 ) , this was supplied by stu on a car i have now broke and want to put it on my 3dr with the L8 .

I was right, i just asked him for you and he knew off the top of his head.

He said the black one is the signal output wire and goes to pin 2 of your L8/P8 and the white ones are the heater power supply and thus need wiring to live and earth. These are NOT polarity conscious, so wire them how you like.

Hes a top man.
