Default Do i still need these when going EFI

Hi

I am fitting Gotech management to my EFI converted RS Turbo, an now i am not sure if i still have to use the fuel accumulator and fuel filter from the "old" MFI setup.

I was told to fit the fuel line directly to the EFI fuelrail, is that true ??

regards
Henrik

That's right. Fuel accumulator is just for MFI engines. You can keep the MFI filter, so you don't need new clamps and lines. But you can fit a smaller or Zetec one if you prefer. I use a Porsche one on mine. It's much smaller than the Ford MFI

Hi thanks for the reply

I will try to get a zetec filter, since the car has not been running for several years, so better get a new one to be sure.

Hi guys, about the accumulator, i have already "sold" it to a friend for 2 cold beers... sorry !!
