Car is possibly overfuelling there is alot of petrol sat in pipe that comes from metering unit to the turbo, n e ideas peeps? tried to upload pics but culdnt figure out how 2

sounds like it's leaking. for enough fuel to get back form the inlet track, thru the turbo and then into the metering head you'd have SERIOUS problems.

Regardless of whether it is over fueling or not - extra fuel should end up in the BORES not in the metering head.

If it is appearing below the flap on the metering head, maybe the metering head is leaking.

Yeah - the only other option is it is traveling back via the breather pipe that feeds into the lower half of the metering unit. However you would expect oil (naturally) and not fuel.

checked both plugs on back of inlet they r sorted, so it looks like the metering head is fooked?

metering unit is DEFINATLY leaking mate. seen loads of the rst's do this.

Unlucky chappy - the plug would have been a nice easy one.

Need to find someone scrapping a running rst.

After that - THEN u will need it setup properly as the chances are the previous RST wont have been running the correct fuel settings for ur car.
