as above a mates very intrested in doing it.and would like to know the pros/cons of it.

After seeing some of those programmes on tv, I'd be inclined to stay on land although I'd imagine its a hell of a job to do, if like your mate, you can stand the high seas and risking getting thrown over the side

were all in to boating and jet skiing anyway mate so thats the least of his worries.and i dont mean dilly dalling around near the beach lol out in heavy seas force 9 two weeks ago on the skis.
