Default best I/cooler for a sapphire YB? RS500 style

Im after a 500size cooler, which are recommended please
Pace
A.H. fabrications
rad tec
Pro alloy
others? I cant find the mags with the tests in and want to compare please so any link to the results or recommendations thankyou.

Car will run 400bhp max, std comp ALS and decent boost, 63mmpipes will be fine and used on track but road to and from
It cant cost a fortune and I want decent temp drops and above all throttle response lokks arent too important

AH Fabrications is the dogs bollocks, as used on LOTS of WRC cars etc, I have one you can have a look at if you like, far better quality than all of the other "big" names IMHO, and I have experience with all of them...

you will have them in stock at their prices, whereas I've ordered 4 Rs500 coolers and 2 aircon kits this week so they come direct from them

Why has Nick from Peformance ford taken his Pro Alloy cooler OFF his car due to temps on track

I always have pro-alooy coolers in stock as they look so bling on the alloy shelf in my bling office

Plus they sell very well to the passing trade . or the man who turns up at the workshop with more money to spend than he thought he had

Also , most mag boys change there stuff to suit the free stuff they get every month for the free plugs

Dan, I'm not sure what you mean. Yes I can supply off the shelf but what does the Ł500 + option mean Understand one thing ... Everything I sell has been tested by myself, I don't sell just for profit margin.

Same here Martin

there is actually more profit on other coolers than pro-alloy , but i choose to sell items that fit correct and work perfect rather than the item that gets me more wonga and a load of greef

I mean you have their wide boy custom cooler not there 50mm off the shelf item.

I know what your getting at with "tested by myself" comment its because I don't have a super fast car

but Radtec has told me they test their coolers on a test rig at MIRA. I will call them on pver the weekend or monday and refer them to this thread to comment on what you have said as I'm not qualified.

Either way PM me for a price if you want one

I wont go on about the gear on Nicks car, as I'm sure he will post on this thread when he sees it.

But what I will say is Nick knows his eggs and he rated the AH kit very highly when we spoke about it.

Pro alloy looks nice and performs well
Pace have had the same design for years
Airtec looks cheap imo (u get what u pay for!!)

If Martin,Mike,Harvey all use Pro then why not have the best??

Buy it once do it right
