Started my RS1800 rebuild this w/e,with the help of me mate damo(some of you may know him from the work he did on tony turbos S2), got cracking at 0900 sat morning, apart from managing to get nearly all the driveway covered in oil and various other engine and brake fluids me and damo cracked on and after a few siezed bolts and a driveshaft that really didnt want to come out of the hub we managed to get the engine and gearbox out,front suspension off and strip down the engine bay






should have suspension and brakes on next w/e if the engine is finished

I am glad damo is helping, but hes costing me a fortune
but I know he does a quality job so thats what makes it worth while(cheers damo ), Engine went to his dads garage today to be stripped down and inspected, hoping for some good news, costs spiralling outa control .... Saw Ł1300 dissapear from my bank account this morning on parts I'm starting to think I have opened a huge can of worms

 

Update.......... Engine nearly together , still waiting for suspension too arrive engine going in this w/e
