Doh! Guess I've done about 1,500 miles since I bought the car, oil at Max on stick at the time... just never thought to check it since... so checked it yesterday and no oil on the stick at all, not even below Min...

Damn, grabbed a can of Mobil1 pronto and it took about 2 litres to bring it back up to Max.

How worried should I be???

 

most cossies do use oil. dosent mean you have a problem thou.

Could that not be the turbo oil seal ???? that seams a bit excessive

 

wouldn,t say that was excessive,if i run any thing in my 3dr rather than castrol 10w/60 it just drinks it,cossies are nown for this as the piston to bore clearence isn,t as fine as todays modern engines,dont use mobil 1 unless it is mobil 1 motorsport
