MFI XR3I Mk4 to MFI RS Turbo Engine
yeah the loom and ecu needs changing but its not hard altho it looks it, just make sure the earths get reconected to the body and everything will fall into place other than that it strait foward.
hi guys i have a 1990 xr3i efi cabriolet and i went and bought an mfi engine with the wiring ecu,fuel module ,exhuast,
so i have a dead efi engine and a working mfi engine and i have the both sets of wirng for both engines efi is still in the car and the mfi ones i am trying to clean up as much as i can but to be honest i really dont know what i am doing
the car was never supposed to be a project so i am a bit annoyed at having no car especially the cab would just like to know where to go what to do if people can help me ill be most grateful thx man

Just done the swap. Easier to swap whole loom. Ive never done anything like it before but found it pretty easy going. Hardest bit was having to chop the fuel pump and sender wires but just resoldered back on new loom.
