The fuel you use coming to pick it up/drop it off you'll be out of pocket anyway!

They are always handy to have!

Any tips on using one by the way? its to solder the battey holder thing onto the circuit board of a clifford remote, so obviously its very small.

Is it just a case of "blobbing" abit on and thats it?

sorry for being a dumbass ive not used one since high school

buy one, spend some time practising with it, they can be awkward to get used to!!

ps you'll probably need to buy an extra roll of solder as you get very little in the cheaper kits.

yeah i read it, but i figured if you were a newbie to soldering you'd want to practice, in which case you'd probably run out.

I could do it for you, but i'm busy working all day today (as you can tell from me being on here )

dont buy a cheap one though as you will be there for ever waiting for it to warm up lol and it wont do some cables that you may need to do in the future

on the circuit board thing, try and get one with changable tips and you would want to use a pointed one id say and be carefull not to melt the board !

Cheap ones aren't worth having, when they heat up the dodgy Chinese plastic handle can't take the heat and they fall apart.
