Default Cossie Gear Ratios

What speed will a 2wd cossie do with a 7200rpm rev limit in each gear. Standard diff and box, with 205/40/17s and 215/40/17s.

Thanks

Steve.

I thought you meant you had one size on the front and one on the rear . It is for the 215s. Obviously the 205s will be a few mph slower in each gear.

The profile is the aspect ratio of the tyre, so to find out the side wall height, you just multiply the width by the sidewall as a percentage, so obviously 40% of 205 is more than 40% of 215 .

Speeds would be:
1st = 40mph
2nd = 70mph
3rd = 107mph
4th = 146mph
5th = 178mph
