Respect to Maria
When she said she was going to pop over to the basingstoke PassionFord meet tonight after work, I didnt realise she was still working in ipswich!
5 hours or so round trip in total I should imagine if she had some traffic on the way up, what a nutter!
Fair play!

According to multimap: 139.78 miles
140 miles / 110 minutes = 76mph average
Not bad going considering theres about 8 roundabouts just to get back to the first motorway section and thats literally door to door you averaged that speed including the time taken to walk to and from the car etc.
Speedo must have been WELL into 3 figures almost the entire way home to manage that sort of door to door average

That's good going Maria! I done Elland road football ground in Leeds to Ipswich in 2hrs 36 mins the other week.. But that was easy A1M A14 no hold ups or nothing! was impressed!
Was good to see you again Maria
Speaking of getting home - my trip was a bit scary! The A4 into Newbury has some tight turns on it, well it did last night! Maybe it was to do with the fact my dash lights swithed themselves off
But OBVIOUSLY I stayed within the speed limits at ALL times!

well done maria, was nice to meet you. didn't speak to you much, but you seemed lovely
i don't know what speed i did on the way home as my speedo was not lit - the rev counter was though, and it was over 8000 in 6th for a good way and 4000 rpm shows as 80mph on the speedo
