I bought this car to use myself as a runaround. It had failed the mot so i did the jobs as follows,
1 tyre,
small amount of welding on rear crossmember,
small amount of welding on n/s sill,
n/s ball joint (wishbone replaced),
front brakes poor (discs and pads replaced),
With this done i used it for a couple of weeks then got offered another car which is a diesel and has a towbar fitted, so i bought this which means the escort is now for sale.
Its done 103000 miles, not much history with it, just a few mot's. Overall its in good condition, a few small dents but not broke the paint.
I did paint the bumpers and the n/s/rear door because this had been replaced and was a different shade of blue and to me stood out a mile.
It has front elec windows, central locking, a/con, alloys with good tyres.
This will do someone as a cheap runaround or a work horse if thats what you want. Overall a good car for £700
