HI I bought a series one about two weeks ago and the engine has been heavily modified running about 300 bhp i have been told so i decided to give it a blast today and was going well and i heard the dump valve dump and then a sudden loss of power and then it spluttered like mad and then died and would not start again. I must add the car has a mf2 and a air and fuel mixture digital in the dash and other buttons saying volume etc(not the radio button). I must add i only know the basics about engines but just wondering if anybody has any ideas. Thanks Tony

could be a number of things, i would look for an air leak first.
could of blown a boost pipe off
