Who is running a piper 285t? njot T2! And what power did you get from it? torque and bhp! and what other mods you got? CheeRS

I had a 285 T2 on ma car and it first made 145 @ the wheels with....

turbosystems chip
285T2 cam
pace chargecooler
magnex
k + n cone
15psi

This was with a cracked head, so it wasnt making full power, then i got these mods done....

stage 2 head
low comp mahles
T28 turbo
AVA intercooler
AP paddle clutch

and it then made 185@ the wheels with 15 psi

 

wicked!

 

The 285T is supposd to be better and I heard it ahs a better lift. The 285 isnt the duration its less than this a bit of a marketing ploy m thinks;

 

the T2 is a good cam it just dont last very long lol seen alot like this i'd never get another

Try Martin Collins, we had this discussion once and I seem to recall him saying that the t was better, he can give you lift figures and power band info

 

pretty sure mine is a 285t ( on a FRST ) running 230 bhp
