Gearbox and diff ratios.

If I was to put a new box into my car, from another. Would the rear diff need matching to the front diff.

How does it all work?

just drive it for a bit before you go taking it apart again

Wont be taking it apart for a while, Not unless it falls apart. LOL

the diffs need to match mate, otherwise one bit of the box rotates faster than other bits of the box
