front whell bearin knocking noise?

Default front whell bearin knocking noise?

just took the series 2 out first time in a year after a resto. but noticed there is like knockin noise from the passenger front. think it could be the wheel bearin?

if cv joint is fucked is it easy to sort out?

not 100% if you can change just the cv joint but doing a whold drive shaft aint the end of the world..

is the noise speed related ie. the faster you go the more you hear it or the louder it gets, if so i would go wheel bearing or cv joint.
if its just an occasional knock i would go for things like arms.

yea it is the faster you go more you hear it. how can it be the arms?

the arms would make more of a knocking noise if anything and would only happen know and then where as the wheel bearing/cv joint would be a speed related noise..
next step for me would be to jack the car up and spin the wheel and try to pinpoint the noise.
also might be a long shot but check the gearbox oil level as that is to the left of the car..
