Default What springs to get

Ive just picked up a escosworth. Its got koni shocks not sure what lowering springs are fitted but the rear seems very high. So I want to change my springs please can you put pics of your cars up with what springs you have fitted to give me an idea on hight I want it to be low but at the same time I dont want coilovers Allso the car has 18" wheels.

You want cobra springs of cossymad, do a search on ajc's monte, and bigpowers old imperial blue, perfect ride height imo.

What car have you bought?

What car have you bought?

I picked up 1 2 mins from where I live Only thing is its red again only done 44k with fsh and 2 owners 1st was ford stage 3 ap front brakes Even got its reciept from ford for when it was new had so much money spent on it over the years. I will get some pics up soon

As had been said imo AJC's escos sat perfect! so i went for the -30mm cobra springs! looks great!

Some one has offered me some 35mm apex springs of here but they are of a sierra cosworth 4x4 will they fit. Will they go to low

Just do a search on ajcs, for the cost of them i'd personally buy new

Why do you not want coilovers, as then you can have whatever height and spring rate you want ?

I had Cobra springs before on my blue one and it sat mint and drove nice!

Must admit, i do like the coilovers i have now, you get exactly what you want!

All Cosworths should have a slightly higher rear than the frontto make them handle better and not wear the inside edges of the tyres out. Mine is 15mm higher at the rear...

If you lower it at the rear, expect the turn in to go to shit, the tyres to wear out on the inside endges and it to not handle as nicely.

I sell the Ahmed springs, which for an Escort make it sit just right and due to the spring rates are matched perfectly to the Konis.
