hi there i have just fitted a newman cam and solid lifters how do you adjust them do you just adjust them so the rocker arms are tight with no movement or is there another way of doing it

i think the gap is 4 thou inlet and 6 thou exshaust or the other way round you should check it out. what a game to set them you have just got to persist with the feeler gauge and two spanners because i have got the same set up ,but you will set them eventually.

 

i have just set the gap to 4 thou inlet and 6 thou exhaust and they move a bit will they be tappy when the engine is running
