This rare beast was bought directly from Ford Motorsport back in the days when the project was scrapped and it has now finally been started by a m8 of mine. It features all the original RS1700 parts but my m8 also needs anyone with additional info on the car so that the project can be finished. Comments please !

 

i know where there is on of these for sale with the genuine kit on it and an rs turbo engine but he is still trying to sell it 15 months l8r

Ps therewas one in blue nr me in Didcot Oxfordshire but i have'nt seen it for a long time now not sure if it was a real one tho looked the bollocks tho i belive the bloke had a cosy powered mk2 escort as well @ some time and last time i sore he had a saff cossie i would have keeped the rs 1700t my self if i was him like

 

i think Fibresports used to make a placcy one, here in sunny basildon.

Thanks for the comments guys, I will take some more pics if you like ? These were just to get some info on the project but seeing that there is a great response I think I will make a plan to get some more and have them posted on here.

BTW the head is F*cked but it is only a dummy build, the proper head has been stashed away until needed.
