hi recently put in a new set of dials in me series 2 and my rev counter is stickin? what has caused this?

 

prob pushed the needle on to far so its stuck on the face!!!

 

thing is it moved then got stuck now it dont work? what the fuck?

 

try pulling the needle off a bit

the rev counnter works by the wired plug doesnt it?

 

It's the good-taste fairies little way of telling you that you should leave the dials standard.

 

i bought a setof lockwood dials of a mate in white they worked, now rev counter dont that well

 

do as carl said, and try and take the needle of a touch, they're also spring loaded, and if you plonk it straight on, it wont read right. you need to put it on slightly lower than the resting pin (but oly a little bit) then "bend" the needle over the pin so it sits on it when not in use.

 

but they peel and look shite!

 

they don't all peel and look shite, if you want console that still looks as new pm me- i have a couple spare
