As above, looking for some Siemens Blacks to replace my greys, only need them for around the 400bhp mark.

I understand 55lb would be ideal but will 83lb be ok too? Is there a problem with them being so big? cheers

 

dont think so mate altho i may be corrected, dont forget fuelling needs to be good not just on full power. for example my 450+ saff on 83's fuel's nicely all the time not just on full chat.

 

i wouldnt have thought it will be a problem with the correct mapping, i run greys on a T3 with no probs at all

 

should be fine if you have an ecu that can control them well...

i have theses on my Escort with an autronic SM4, although i have lowed the fuel pressure to 3 bar static to help the idle, but even at 3bar rail pressure there only at 1% duty at idle..

but for 400 they are a bit to big really..

you would be better suited with the 55lb items..

 

but if you go bigger better faster in the future you have the injectors for it, and lets face it you probably will

 

will be fine mate if set up correctly, you might as well get the 83lb as that way you've have future proof'd the injectors in case you want to increase power later on

 

It really depends on the particular injector... in the case of the 'siemens blacks', then 83lb will probably be ok as they are quite manageable.. i'd go for the 55's though, would give superior control/emissions.. it's not hard to change to bigger ones in the future.

 

what about 750's??

 

If you decide to drop down to 55's, I have a brand spanking new set here that I didn't use.

 

be fine i have them msd mapped spot on and there good for up to 650 hp if needed

Im using 750cc injectors and thats to be with 450bhp.

If your running good managemnt though the larger ones will be ok
but maybe a little lumpy when cold.

 

I only really want it for better fuel comsumption to go with the closed loop it will be going on shortly.
Sounds like 55lb are the better options in which case.
