Im not pretending anything, Im merely using her as an example, if she's allowed then I assume others are too, so Id just like some clarifaction as Im not aware of what the new rules are as I can find any reference to them having changed.

I know that nick @ pinsharpautos (IIRC it being him) recently for example had to change his signature as it had a trade link in it, and I believe bobby singh was banned for the same thing, so obviously its a VERY recent change if there has been one.
Ive got a website id like to promote, but have never done as its a company one and previously that wasnt allowed.

 

Chip - unless someone tells the mods about stuff like this they might not know about it, I'm sure now that you've highlighted the issue the mods will do whatever they need to do to sort it out.

Thats a peculiar statement, how is her linking to her commercial site known to you to be making her anymore or less money than other traders?
Is it only bad traders who dont make money that you think should be allowed to do it free with links then? And how do the mods police wether or not anyone is making money, or do they just ask you by PM to make a decision on that?

Nick tried that, he got told off, so we need to know the rules on what you are and arent allowed to advertise and what sort of level of nudity gets your exemption first, so as to avoid breaking the rules.

Wasn't there a big thread about 'advertising' and company user names a while back where it was said you could put a company webaddress in/under your signature as long as it wasn't your company?

Rules are rules, it's unfair for advertisers to pay Łxxx but because someone is fit they get away with not paying a penny

I didn't notice that under her name. I will go and remove that as well, but once all reference to her website etc has been removed, I think that the name issue is completely irrelevant with the corrections made, as no-one will make the link once this thread has disappeared off the page. However, I know you're going to argue differently, but please direct any further discussion to Stu, as I think the above is sufficient in THIS instance.

Its not just the bit under her name, its also her username itself which includes her commercial identity.
