Default log of rst on ms.. afr problem

Ok, made a little drive with the 2.0 zvh rst on megasquirt an made a log vieuw.

The afr seems to be jumpingup and down a lot because the injector pw and duty cucle also is.

What could be causing this?

Should i set the fuel down in the ve table or is it correcting to fast and overcompensating the fuel..

all input is welcome

see the middle graph, red is afr

It just needs properly mapping.. make sure you dont have any big jumps inbetween load-sites and make it as smooth as possible. Tuning on your own isn't very practical, so either get someone else to drive whilst you map it or take it to a steady-state rolling road or hub dyno and spend some good time on it.

You are either running it in a lambda closed loop with too aggressive control. Or, you are triggering some of the enrichments for whatever reason. See if your engine bits are changing at the same rate.

For example, if you have tied acceleration enrichment to MAP and have too much of enrichment with too little threshold, it will just start oscillating.

Hej JesseT,

It's not running in a lambda closed loop.

It could well be there's an enrichment witch is to much with a treshold to small, found something in acceleration wizzard the tuning program today so i'll try some more tomorrow.

Just have a look at the engine bit in the log to see what is going on.

Well, the injector PW and dutycycle are increasing/decreasing at the same time the afr is changing so it must be somthing with the enrichment i reccon.

Made some adjustments to the treshold in the accelleration and turned the ve table down a bit and reesult is a much better afr but stil a lot of work to be done
