Default Water temps

right whats the average water running temps 4 a cosworth (i know all engines r different) but according to my secs monitor my water temps at the back of my head stays around 80does this sound bout right?

I know that the fans kick in at 87 degrees so it might be static at 80, not too sure though

you find that on a cruise water and oil temps are almost idendical due to the modine heat exchanger

sounds ok to me as long as the fans cut in dont worry about it.

As glenshute says, ok to me too, shows the stat is working as well.
Oil temps will be higher, why they are cooled by modine, the oil does at least as much cooling as the water.
