Just wondering what people use to tape up the plastics on their cars before they polish so that they don't get it all over the trim.

Was thinking about electrical tape but obviously don't want to damage my car before checking.

The stuff thats best is some 3M blue body tape, which aint really heavy duty sticky.

Failing that some masking tape that aint too sticky does the job!

It's much easier to work than regular masking tape

 

sticks to most things, yet doesnt pull paint or leave residue or marks
