I have a problem with the aerial with the 3dr. When the power button is pressed the aerial extends to it's full lenght then when it stops it buzzes really load and doesn't stop until the power button is turned off.

Any ideas lads????

 

Sounds like the limit switch in the aerial is fubar m8.

 

Explain more mate, this is new territory for me and i ain't got a clue what half the parts are

There will be a pair of micrswitches in the aeriel to stop it at its full travel and when inverted,to stop the aeriel motor burning out.

No probs m8,tbh sounds like you'll need a new one.

 

I've never yet seen a limit switch on a electric aerial, just a relay with TIMER, the relay is most likely stuck ON maybe due to a faulty timer.
