Here we have a 1992 Ford Escort RS2000 Cabriolet...
It's very unusual and the only one of it's kind i've ever seen. It's based on an XR3i, but it has had a full loom, management and engine fitted from the RS.

It's also got the bulge bonnet, its taxed an MOT and ready to go for the summer.

I was told by the previous owner that it was <b>188bhp</b> before the engine went in but i have no proof to back it up. It is quick for an RS2k lump compared to others I have driven (bearing in mind a cabby is heavier) and it does spit out flames when you boot it going through the gears.

It's got an rs2k gearbox which the previous owner said he had built for him (again only repeating what he told to me)

The car does seem really strong and it does pull very well, i was told it was from a low mileage car.

bodywork is good but it is 15 yrs old so there is the odd dink, chip, scrape and such here and there.

I love the car but i've just got a new job and money is a bit tight so i'm selling, in saying that though i'm really not desperate to sell and would quite easily keep her as she is my pride and joy.

I'm looking at £1500 really for the car, but you can try making a SENSIBLE offer.. i may also consider a swap for a cheap car/4x4 + cash.

I Can Vouch for this car being a friend of his. This car has come along way since he has bought it, lots of time & money gone into it lately, it is pretty quick for an Cab, its different from the usual ''RS Turbo'' Conversion's.

Handles quite well too (Better than i suspected to be honest)

The Drivers side Calpier (spl) was changed a few weeks ago too which he forgot to say. The Roof DOES NOT LEAK! like most.

Also has Brand new Fusion Speakers in the Doors too!
