Default How Do You Check Wear/Damage To Hydraulic Tappits??

As title,

Took the rocker off, in the process of replacing the head gasket and looked at the hydraulic tappits, but need to know, if one (or more) is faulty What sort of physical things should i be looking for?? and is there anything to test whether each one works??

cheers

It is next to impossible to test like this, if they have done any amount of miles just replace them, or if any were noisy.

They CAN be replaced individually, then you might have to play hunt the noisy one again!!
