Well im looking for anyone on here who might have a working xr3i efi loom laying around. Im a bit dipressed as i have spent the last couple of days fitting a whole new loom to my motor and All was going well untill i went to test it out. first i noticed that the high beam was on permantly and then smoke started coming from the dash!! after some investigation i found it has melted part of the loom behind the dash. All i can pin it down to is that i got some of the relays around the wrong way as i have now found out that a couple of relays are located diffent in the fuse box to the old loom. The melted wires where quite localized starting from the indicator stalk plug all the way to three relay bases in the fuse box. If anyone can help i would be truly greatful.
