Default poybushes re fittin problems

i have a series 2, and having difficulty gettin the big polybush in the rear wishbones rest go in. i have de-flex. anyideas?

if you have cut away the old bush they should go in easy!

If you are having trouble putting the bush into the actual arm itself, then try a little bit of silicone spray. I had that trouble with the arms on the Cabby and just sprayed a little bit of that on the bushes, then gently tapped them in with a dead-blow hammer. Did the same when fitting them to the car as they were nice and tight there as well.

ive got this problem too and in a pic it looked liked that some one had taken the couter metal sleeve off and pushed the bush in if that makes sense

i had the same prob the old bush has a metal sleeve in it looks like its part of the wishbone but will hammer out with big flat head

put mine in with a vice no problems, make sure you def have the right ones as there is 2 types as i had the wrong ones, early mk3 ones are larger, i had this prob so had to change them

when i fitted my powerflex bushes to my s2 i had to cut the metal sleeve in 2 then hammer and chisel the cut forcing the sleeve and bush out of ethier side
