Default im going for a Private pilots licence

does anyone on here have one, im applying in january cant wait either as its something ive always wanted

getting it through the RAF @ a cheap cost, got to do 45hrs min to be able to take your test.

will be quite good only being early 20's and having it i think

The only thing I will say is I hope u r feeling rich.

Otherwise it may take a while- I am sure Alex is best qualified but from memory I know it wasn't cheap for my mate Chris.

He passed his at 19 I think.

40 hours at over 100 quid a time is plenty money.

My sister did hers when she was 20 through the Air League who paid for most of it!

I'm thinking of doing the same at some point!

I've done about 8 hours in a bulldog and it's sooooo much fun!!! You can pick up a nice 4 seater single prop Piper for under £20k as well

I didn't finish to get my pilot licence but I flew with instructors when I was 17.
never knew it was only 60mph to get a 2 seater plane in the air!!

Cool, my mates son flew solo for the first time a few weeks ago. He is only 16 or 17. Its weird that you can fly a plane before you can drive a car!

I will definately do mine sooner or later. Its just finding the bloody time!

Flting up to Brum will be sooo much quicker and alot more fun
