Default was my car dyno'd properly ?

took my car to be tested on the dyno'd but i dont think it was done properly

basicly he did the run from 2k rpm untill the power started to drop off at about 5.9k then dumped the clutch

he did a couple of turbo cars and stoped at 4.2k rpm!

shurely you need to go from tickover untill the limiter kicks in

my 2.0 fez dod 153 bhp at jamsport about 2 month ago and 137.8 on this new dyno in leicester called street racers

the dyno model is a MAHA LPS 3000 4WD jobbie aparently only 3 in the country

have u a graph? u dont do it from tickover, and, if power starts to drop off, or something isnt right - he'll dump the clutch.

Porkie, some peeps refer to rolling roads as "chassis dyno's"...(as aposed to engine dyno's).

Alos the Maha is a good quality german built/designed rolling road..........quite a few in the UK

lol its not a vtec or pug s16 engine where it will rev past 7k and keep pulling like a race horse out of control

the power will drop off at the top end natualy around 6k on a std 2.0 zetec

he just stoped as soon as he got the highest power ie as soon as the power started to flake off

personaly if you want a proper print out he should do the whole range the engine is capable of ie from 1k to 7k and get the results from that

If the power started to drop of yeah he would have stop as no piont in going on. But surley he should have made it better so it pulls a lot hiugher up than that what car are we talking about?
